FAQ
What safety measures do you take during newborn shoots?
I wear an N95 mask during the entire shoot. I use hand sanitizer upon entering the home, and I have parents move/hold the baby as much as possible.
Do you have a studio?
I do not. I shoot outdoors and in my clients' homes or other indoor venues.
How fast will I receive my images?
I guarantee that you will receive your images within two weeks, but it is typically a few days!
When is the best time for my shoot?
For outdoor sessions, "golden hour" is the best for light. It is the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset. For indoor sessions, 10:00 am - 3:00 pm is best.
What cosmetic edits do you do?
Skin smoothing/softening, teeth whitening, flyaway hairs removal, blemish and spot removal, and eye brightening. I do not edit the shapes of faces or bodies.
When should I schedule my newborn shoot?
As soon as you know your due date! Newborn shoots are ideally taken within your baby's first two weeks, but can be taken within their first month. Once your baby arrives, we'll schedule the exact date.
How will I select my images?
After your shoot, I will select the best images and do my first round of edits. These are primarily color and brightness. I will then send you a link to your watermarked gallery where you will select your final images. Once selected, I will complete my final edits which primarily consist of blemish/item removal, skin softening, etc.
